Synopsis White siblings court a Black college student who is pregnant with their deceased brother’s child. The older sister is in her third marriage and seventh miscarriage. The younger sister is a confident lesbian with a healthy relationship and a promising career. The brother is a socially awkward bachelor with hopes to win back an old girlfriend. Each yearns to adopt the baby and is willing to tear each other down to come out victorious. Issues of race, sexual orientation, genetics, nature verses nurture, and how society treats childless women come into play as the young lady struggles to make a difficult decision.
